Doggie cam to help fight crime

These days it seems cameras are everywhere we go. We have traffic cameras, security cameras, sports cameras, and shows like Big Brother.

Now they’re putting them on dogs!

Some dogs in the Victorian Police Force now have a small camera and battery pack attached to them to help fight crime.

These “Dog cams” will be used in search and rescue, and siege operations. They will allow police to see images from places that would otherwise be physically too difficult to get to, or too dangerous for a police officer.

Imagine all the things you might see if they put a camera on your dog!
